Wine + Beer that Meet Nourish Standards

Wine + Beer that Meet Nourish Standards

When we started Nourish we weren't sure if we'd serve alcohol, mostly because of space issues and the questions of did it fit within our mission?  But we both live very healthy lifestyles and still love a good glass of wine and/or beer.  #balance.  We have ridiculously high standards with the food we serve and we wanted to be on the forefront of what is happening with wine and beer as well.  This is where biodynamic, natural, organic wines and gluten free beer come in.

Eating Clean 2017

Eating Clean 2017

The New Year is essentially a Monday on crack. The marker of a fresh start, to be your best self. Many people don't like resolutions, but any time you spend reflecting how you can live the life you'd be happiest living, then why not set some intentions? Of course, eating healthier is typically high on the resolution list. We want to encourage you to not think about counting calories or losing weight, but to think about eating clean. Pump your body full of nutrients so you feel vibrant every day and avoid preservatives and processed foods.  When you eat clean, whole foods you will feel better, your skin will glow, your energy will dramatically increase, your moods won't fluctuate and hormones will balance.  That's what we pride ourselves on at Nourish...every single ingredient is carefully selected, everything is made from scratch and every meal has superfoods. It doesn't matter if you're Paleo, doing a Whole 30 challenge, vegan, on a juice cleanse or just love fueling your body with organic, unprocessed food... Nourish has you covered.

Being Green

Being Green

When Kimber and I were creating the concept of Nourish, there were two things that were always our main focus. The first is obvious, making nutrient rich food craveable and the new "norm" for how food should be, unprocessed, whole and delicious. The second, was our minimal impact on this beautiful Mother Earth we all share.  To us there is no other option but to go the extra mile and spend a little extra, to ensure that we are being as Eco Friendly as possible, within our small Cafe.  It is said that restaurants (obviously this greatly depends the size) can produce, on average, 150,000 lbs of garbage a year. That's heartbreaking and nothing we wanted to be a part of.  We just hope that our customers care as much a we do and support the local restaurants that do things differently.  Let me share our green ways:

I thought Kimber didn't have enough to do (ya know....just owning a business, being our full time GM and taking care of her baby girl) so I asked her to share her daily healthy habits for our blog. She's inspiring and if you have seen her post baby bod you will drop the chips and get in downward dog immediately.
